Aminu Tambuwal, embattled speaker of the House of Representatives, has picked the notice of intent and nomination forms to run for the office of president on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Tambuwal recently defected from the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The speaker received the presidential nomination forms on Thursday, Imam Imam, his spokesperson, told newsmen.
Others who had earlier picked the forms are Muhammadu Buhari, former head of state; former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State, and Sam Nda-Isiah.
