This may not be the best of time for the staff of Keystone Bank because of what they seem to be going through. As you read this, some of them are busy working on their plan B in case they are confronted with the unexpected.Going by the information supplied by an in-house source, we gathered that the bank is currently rapidly sacking staff in a coded manner. The worst aspect of it is that some of the staffers being sacked are considered as some of the good hands that have served the bank for years. There are also speculations that the bank is desperately grappling with financial difficulties and it’s because they cannot afford to pay their staff that they are sacking them in such controversial numbers. We also learnt that the reason some of the staffs were sacked was because power has changed hands which has also brought about different new policies that include the massive laying-off. Sources say while some people were receiving best wishes text messages on the first day of the year from their employers, some of the staff of Keystone bank received heart-breaking text messages announcing that their appointments had been terminated with the bank. Did you say sadistic timing? Well, perhaps the bank needed to start the new year on a clean slate. Since then other staffers have been working in fear, literally looking over their shoulders in anxiety because no one can tell who will be the next victim.
