The Adamawa State governorship bye election will be conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on October 11.
Both the state Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Kashim Gaidam and the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to INEC chairman, Mr Kayode Idowu, confirmed the development last night.
The state House of Assembly had, last month, impeached the state governor, Admiral Mutala Nyako (retd), while the speaker was sworn in as the acting governor.– Nigerian Tribune.
